Eugene City Councilor Mike Clark said Monday evening that he would vote to interview Thomas Hiura. His vote was the threshold fourth vote required to conduct interviews. The Whole Community News offered to simulate the 30-minute City Council interview, using audio from the original interview sessions conducted Dec. 5, 2022. Thomas Hiura agreed and the simulated 30-minute interview was conducted by Zoom session Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022.
