Hello everyone, I just want to say thank you first and foremost to the KEPW team for letting me have this pop culture segment on here. I am a huge fan of pop culture and celebrity news. So if you’re interested in that, I will be here every week giving you the tea, giving a little gossip, having a little chat. So yeah, turn that volume up and let’s get into it.

[00:00:36] So Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been going through it. He addressed, finally, if you don’t know already, there had been a string of paparazzi photos taken where Ben Affleck looks like somebody’s angry dad, divorced dad, whatever you want to call it.

[00:00:56] And the meme online, people are calling it Sad Affleck. The Sad Affleck memes have been going around and he finally addressed these memes by saying to a source that he just is shy. He’s a shy guy and he doesn’t like getting paparazzi photos taken with his kids, whatever, whatever.

[00:01:23] But the photos that were leaked were ones where he looks like he’s in an active argument with Jennifer Lopez. There was one photo that leaked where he had his hand up. Not saying that he was going to hit her or anything, but he was using his hands to argue. I’m sure. Like they were at a jewelry store on vacation, the best place to argue for couples. He was in the jewelry store with her and there’s photos where he just looks distraught like they’re in an argument and yeah, he did not address the rumors how I thought it would be, but that’s how it goes.

[00:02:05] And in other news:  So, beloved actor Kevin Costner announces that he’s not returning to Yellowstone. I’m sorry, Yellowstone fans. But there’s some good and bad to the story. I don’t know if there’s any Horizon fans, but if you’re a Horizon fan, maybe that could be a good thing for you. Days after telling Savannah Guthrie on Today that he would be willing to return to Yellowstone, the actor is changing his tune a bit.

[00:02:44] Kevin posted a video to Instagram on June 21 with the caption, ‘An update for you guys, I’ll see you at the movies.’ Speaking to the camera, Kostner addressed Yellowstone fans directly to confirm that he would not be returning to the show in the near future.

[00:03:00] He says, ‘I want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon, and doing all of the things that is required, and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series I love, that I know you love, I just realized I’m not going to be able to continue season 5B or into the future.’

[00:03:22] Costner reflected on the impact of the series, which premiered exactly five years before Costner posted his video. It had a huge impact on his life. I mean, he was on this show for so long, and he’s said in interviews, he loves that show. You’re not going to stay on a show for five years if you don’t love it.

[00:03:39] But yeah, I think he might be interested maybe in going in to film again, which, if you’re a Kevin Costner fan, that might be a better thing for you.

[00:03:51] Okay, you guys, for our last segment of the news story, I have something funny for you. So, Justin Timberlake, if you don’t already know, he was arrested with a DWI charge. He’s on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, and he swung through a red light in Sag Harbor, where he got arrested, was refusing to take a breathalyzer test, and he got arrested with the DWI. He goes on the next day on Saturday to perform since the incident, and he’s still going.

[00:04:33] The world tour has not stopped for him during this—I don’t even know how he’s still able to perform and not in jail, I mean, this is insane. It’s hilarious though. Definitely not the first controversy he’s been in, but it’s the first one in a really long time. I guess he’s been partying since he’s been on tour and the partying is not you know, it’s not surprising, given his reputation for being a certified, allegedly, a******.

[00:05:05] Even this tour, to me, you guys, I love me some old Justin Timberlake, but I’m not much of a fan anymore and I feel like it’s the same for a lot of people.
