And I’m back and back from my brief respite and vacation and/or protest if you want to call it. It was sort of a protest. I was kind of protesting for all my listeners out there using radios and so if you’re still getting the coverage from our broadcast over the air and it’s not so clear we’re still working on it but it’s a matter of our volunteer that has to do with hooking up these new Barix boxes to help alleviate and boost our signal our FM broadcast signal. So we’re still waiting for that to happen.

But in the meantime, that was why I was away. Now, I hope you enjoyed the crew of the Whole Community News taking over for Newsday. That was the first and I am wholeheartedly grateful that they did it. It was different. It wasn’t what we do here, but it was very nice. First time in six years, over six years, that somebody has stepped up and taken my place. So I was very grateful. Thank you all to Whole Community News, John Q., Todd Boyle et. al. Thank you very much for what you did.

All right, now we have a lot to cover today and we’re going to get to it as soon as possible but before we do that it’s once again time to check in with our weather.
