The Holiday Farm fire, which came frighteningly close to Springfield and Eugene, destroyed hundreds of homes and forced thousands of residents to evacuate. Speakers and Topics:
- Chris Heppel, Fire Chief, Eugene/Springfield Fire Dept. – Firsthand Account of the Holiday Farm Fire
- Amy Linder, Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal – How to Harden and Protect Your Home from Wildfire
- Tim Ingalsbee, PhD. Exec. Director, Firefighters United for Safety, Ethics and Ecology (FUSEE) – Solutions to Wildland Fire
