Feb. 25, 2022 — In December of 2021, North Eugene High School reported several offensive, vulgar and threatening social media posts associated to their students and faculty. During the same time period one of the students reported being singled out and harassed online because of their race. Since that time the Eugene Police Department with the help of Eugene School District 4J has continued to investigate this case.

Yesterday, a juvenile was arrested for charges of Extortion, Bias Crime in the Second Degree, and Harassment. We will not be releasing further information at this time due to the age of those involved.
