Help reboot Bethel Boosters to support WHS athletics, clubs, activities
1 min readby Michelle Hurley
Community volunteers are bringing back the Bethel Boosters to support our schools’ activities.
Willamette High School Athletic Director Bill Wagner has been working with Bethel school district leaders on a vision for the revamped boosters to reboot the organization, support high school athletics, and support as many sanctioned school activities and clubs as possible.
The boosters were critical in supporting fundraising opportunities for Willamette High School and other Bethel School District schools for a very long time.
Many small businesses and local non-profit organizations were deeply impacted or even shut down during COVID, including the Bethel Boosters. The organization has not been active the last few years.
Their absence has had deep effects on the organizations and sports that had relied on their support in the past, many of which are trying to conduct their own fundraising and feeling disjointed from the greater efforts that previously existed.
Community volunteers are needed to serve in key leadership roles to help reboot the organization and get it up and running. Volunteers are also needed for the upcoming Bethel Boosters fundraising and community efforts.
If you have questions or are interested in supporting the reboot and volunteer efforts of Bethel Boosters, please send your name, address, email, and phone number to mickhurl_13@me.com. Please also identify what type of role you might be interested in supporting.
