LTD ratifies contract with IT workers
2 min readThe Lane Transit District board unanimously approves a new contract for its IT workers. At the March 13 meeting:
Cory Graham (LTD IT union steward): My name is Cory Graham. I’m the senior systems engineer here at LTD in the IT department. I’m also a union steward.
[00:00:17] I’m thrilled to announce that our recent contract negotiations have been successfully concluded and our new agreement has been officially ratified. This achievement marks a significant milestone for our organization, and reflects the dedication, collaboration, and hard work of all parties involved.
[00:00:34] I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the negotiation process from the members of our negotiation team to the representatives of the union. Our commitment to finding common ground and reaching mutual beneficial agreement has been truly commendable.
[00:00:52] This contract not only provides our employees with fair wages, benefits, and working conditions, but also strengthens the bond between labor and management. By working together with respect, transparency, and a shared vision for the future, we have demonstrated our ability to overcome challenges and achieve success.
