  • A local investigation led to the seizure of 1.5 pounds of fentanyl and $15,000 in cash. Also:
  • A commercial fire happened in West Eugene.
  • We have noncitizens added to the Lane County voter rolls due to DMV error and that was quickly removed.
  • Firefighters respond to suspicious fire at a Wilco store.
  • Portland Fire rescues a woman trapped in a basement during the house fire.

  • The federal government is sending Oregon almost $43 million for roads damaged by the winter storms of last year (and here comes winter again), and
  • Firefighters respond to a fire at Kelly Middle School.

  • Two Former New York Fire Department chiefs are arrested in an ongoing federal corruption investigation.
  • Sean “Diddy” Combs is charged with sex trafficking in a sprawling indictment and held without bail.
  • Disney trips meant for homeless students went to New York City employees’ kids, and
  • A man uses his truck to stop a runaway car after a woman loses consciousness behind the wheel.
