Tax Day action at Federal Building April 15

Planet Versus Pentagon is holding an action at the Federal Building, 7th and Pearl, April 15, Tax Day, between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

We want our taxes to go to mitigating the climate crisis, not to war, genocide, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

We want our taxes to go to planting trees and protecting more parks, ending hunger, providing affordable healthcare, education and housing, not destroying our environment.

We want our taxes to go towards life-affirming things, not to war.

Over 50% of our taxes go to the U.S. military. Since the war in Iran started, over $1 billion of our tax dollars a day is going to this war.

The U.S. military is the largest carbon emitter in the world. Besides killing and maiming innocent civilians, including children, the military is destroying flora and fauna and cultural artifacts. We are demanding that this stop. We do not want our hard-earned dollars going toward war, genocide, and ICE.
