Eugene's Human Rights Commission will mark International Human Rights Day with a documentary film screening and panel discussion.

To celebrate International Human Rights Day on Dec. 10, Eugene’s Human Rights Commission will offer a free documentary film screening and a panel discussion.

The documentary film “Healing from Hate: Battle For the Soul of a Nation” examines the root causes of hate group activity through the bold work of those battling intolerance on the front lines, including groundbreaking sociologist Michael Kimmel (author, Angry White Men, Healing From Hate), and “Life After Hate,” an organization founded by former Skinheads and neo-Nazis now engaged in transforming attitudes of intolerance.
