As the year really gets going and we may collectively reflect on what was, I suggest we work on the idea of progress in our life. With that in mind, April starts us off and the energy is deep. So I come to you today to encourage the deep necessity to lean into learning and unlearning what you think to be true. 

There is nothing moving forward that will be familiar to you from the past. That doesn’t have to be bad or sad, but it does have to do with how you will be able to engage with yourself and that means doing the harder internal work: interrogating and digging out the internalized systems of racism and homophobia, xenophobia, misogynistic ways and thoughts, etc., etc., attitudes and assumptions within ourselves and others.
