EWEB to host job showcase for utility support workers July 11

EWEB will highlight the importance of the utility support worker at two one-hour information sessions Thursday, July 11 at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., at the EWEB Roosevelt Operations Center, 4200 Roosevelt Blvd.
Utility support workers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our water and electric crews. Key duties include traffic control, flagging, and performing various essential tasks that support the efficiency and safety of our operations. These positions are vital for maintaining the reliability and quality of services that our community depends on.
Job seekers in the general public ages 18 and over are invited to learn more about the position, which serves as an early career entry point to the industry. No registration is required.

The Eugene Water & Electric Board is Oregon’s largest customer-owned utility. Founded in 1911, EWEB provides water and electricity to approximately 96,000 customers in the Eugene-Springfield area.
